The Construction Trades Program gives students the opportunity to build project to enhance hands-on skills. Their main project is working on the construction of a home built here on our campus.

Construction trades. Hey guys, my name is Mister Howk. I'm the construction trades Instructor. we focus on residential construction and all the details that go with building a house. you'll have the opportunity to obtain certification in carpentry, Plumbing, electrical an intro to hvac. We're outside in the project house or shop everyday giving you the opportunity to gain confidence in your construction skills. you may not be ready for the professional Workforce right now but I guarantee you will be when you graduate from Green Country Technology Center. we learn together and we learn to work together. we also support one another. therefore creating a great learning environment. lifelong friendships will be made at Green Country construction trades program. I look forward to seeing you on campus. When you build a house from the ground up you really start to see the inner workings of buildings. this program set you up with many skills to perform a lot of jobs and if you want to take it to the next level, you'll be prepared to get a degree in construction management electrical and many other high paying jobs. but you could also graduate out of the program and get a job right away. mr. Howk is a great instructor who loves teaching and this is a really fun class and you should consider it.  I know a lot of people who skipped out on their opportunity to join Green Country and they're really regretting their decision. don't miss out. Come on to construction trades. Students in the construction trades program are trained in the operation of a variety of professional grade power tools and equipment needed to construct a full size house from start to finish.  Students also learn basic Plumbing, wiring and HVAC as well as framing, trim construction, Roofing, concrete finishing, and much more. students will learn to interpret Blueprints and building specification to successfully complete various construction projects.
