Business and Entrepreneurial Services
Green Country Technology Center's Small Business Services Department has a two-fold goal:
- To assist entrepreneurs during the startup phase of their business venture including creating business plans using LivePlan.
- To help small business owners increase revenue, grow customer base, increase sales as well as teaching valuable skills such as marketing, controlling inventory, hiring, social networking, etc.
Start Up 101 - We offer a series of small business start up courses throughout the year that provide valuable information needed to begin a new business venture. Topics include, business fundamentals, market analysis, business plan development, financing options, human resources, business insurance, marketing, websites and social media, bookkeeping, etc.
Talk Local @ The Lokal - This Wednesday morning coffee talk has been Okmulgee County's hub for all things entrepreneurial and small business since June of 2017. Talk Local offers a weekly opportunity for collaboration over coffee and casual, honest conversations with others in Okmulgee county's entrepreneurial and small business ecosystem.
Join us weekly for networking and to hear a short presentation from business owners and community leaders sharing valuable information helping you become successful in your business venture.
