Marsha represents the northern part of Okmulgee County as a board member for GCTC.  She has been involved in education as a teacher, principal, superintendent and board member for forty-three years.  She is currently serving as financial director/federal programs director at Beggs Public Schools after retiring as superintendent in 2009. 

Marsha and her husband, Mike, live west of Beggs. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Northeastern Oklahoma State University.  Her Superintendent Certification was obtained at Oklahoma State University. She and her husband raised two sons at Beggs and they are both now educators.  They have five grandsons who keep them active and very busy.
