Green Country Technology Center proudly celebrated the accomplishments of eight graduates at the Fall Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Graduation ceremony held on December 10, 2024. Family, friends, and faculty gathered to honor the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of these students as they embark on their careers in healthcare.
The evening featured heartfelt speeches, the presentation of certifications, and a memorable pinning ceremony. Superintendent Mr. Roger King expressed his pride in the graduates, saying, “Tonight, we celebrate not only your achievements but also the countless lives you will touch in your journey as healthcare professionals. Your commitment to excellence and service reflects the values of GCTC, and we’re excited to see the impact you’ll make in the world.”

Each graduate received their nursing pin, symbolizing their readiness to serve in the healthcare field. Anthony Nieto, Marketing & Communications Coordinator, shared his excitement about the graduates’ bright futures: “Seeing the passion and dedication in each of these graduates reminds us why we do what we do. They’re not just students; they’re future leaders in healthcare, and we couldn’t be more proud.”
The ceremony concluded with a reception, allowing graduates and their loved ones to celebrate their remarkable achievements together. As these new LPNs step into their careers, they carry with them the skills, knowledge, and compassion instilled by their time at GCTC.
